Vacation
An employee in their first year with the company can accrue up to a full week (5 days) of vacation in their first full calendar year of service.
- If their employment starts in the beginning (first week of January) of a brand new year, then they are eligible for a full week of vacation upon completion of a full calendar year of service. The vacation can be taken on the same year after accrual.
- If their employment starts in the middle of the year, they are eligible for a full week vacation after the completion of a full year. The vacation can be taken on the same year after accrual.
- If their employment starts in the last part (month of December) of the year, they are eligible for a full week of vacation on the completion of a full calendar year. The vacation can be taken on the following year after accrual.
An employee in their second year with the company has a guaranteed full week of vacation, following their second full calendar year of service, and can also accrue up to a full week of vacation in the same year of service.
- If the employee desires to take a vacation in the same year, the vacation can be taken within the same year, both using accrued and guaranteed vacation.
- This means there is a potential of two total weeks of vacation to be taken at the same time.
An employee in their third year and beyond with the company has a guaranteed full two weeks of vacation, following their second full calendar year of service, and can also accrue up to a two additional weeks of vacation in the same year of service.
- If the employee desires to take a vacation in the same year, the vacation can be taken in the same year, both using accrued and guaranteed vacation.
- This means there is a potential of four total weeks of vacation to be taken at the same time.
- Vacations cannot exceed four weeks at any given time, unless approved.
All vacation days are paid. Employees are encouraged to take vacations every year after the second year. Unused vacation will be kept on file and can be used at any time.
We understand that there will be instances in life which lead to needing more time away. Employees experiencing difficult times in life have the option to use vacation to cover time lost at work and are also eligible for additional resources. To learn about those resources, please speak with your Human Resources Department.
Healthcare
An employee is eligible for healthcare benefits after 90 days of service.
- The employee must be actively scheduled.
- The employee must maintain a minimum of 20 hours worked per week to qualify.
- If the employee elects to have healthcare benefits, a portion of their pay will be deducted per plan selected.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
An employee in their first year with the company are eligible for three days of Paid Time Off in their first 90 days of service.
- PTO can be used to supplement vacation, if there are unexpected delays in returning to work.
- PTO can also be used by itself, as a personal paid day for employees needing to take care of important tasks.
An employee in their second year with the company are eligible for four days of Paid Time Off, after the first full calendar year of employment.
An employee in their third year and beyond with the company are eligible for five days of Paid Time Off, after the second full calendar year of employment.
We understand that there will be instances in life which lead to needing more time away. Performance Bonus
Aside from the regular wages, all employees are eligible for performance bonuses. These bonuses are redeemable in the form of Cash, gift cards, home services, and additional vacation time.
